Social sharing the way it should be.

Back in 2023, I had no choice but to start on this journey.

Sitting at my desk at home, wife in the other room. Days away from welcoming our first child into the world.

Full of excitement, and anxiety, of soon becoming dad to my little girl. There’s something inexplainable about becoming a father to a daughter. This deep drive to love and protect overcomes you. Ella would be here soon and I was determined to be the best dad I could be.

A video pops up in my feed — “A message from Ella”. Had to click play on that.

What followed rocked me. Two loving and unsuspecting parents shocked by artificial intelligence’s destructive power. They sit face to face with an AI generated adult version of their little girl as she recalls in tears the ways she’s been exploited.

After watching those long 3 minutes, I sat frozen. I had to do something. My own Ella was coming soon. Friends and family want to share in the joy of our family. But they haven’t spent a career around tech. They share anything, anywhere. No idea what’s really going on with data they post.

So I built Juno. Because I need it. My kids need it. Family and friends too. Honestly, we all need it.

We need a place free from AI, advertisers, and influencers. A place that isn’t about performative posting or dopamine maxing. This app is made to be an honest and authentic place you can safely share with who you know.

Thanks for joining Juno,

Joe
