Delete your Juno account

Delete your account in the app

• Open Juno and go to your profile.
• Open Settings.
• Under Other, choose Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted, and the app signs you out.

Because your content is end-to-end encrypted with keys that exist only on your devices, deletion cannot be undone. Nobody, including Juno, can restore it afterwards.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@juno.so from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will reply to that address to confirm the request, then delete the account. We cannot act on a request sent from a different address, because confirming control of the account's email is how we verify that the request is yours.

What is deleted

• Your account, email address, name, bio, profile photo and cover image.
• Your connections, friend lists, blocks and pending requests.
• Every post, caption, comment, reaction and sticker you created, in their encrypted form, together with the sealed keys that would open them.
• Your notifications, saved collections and viewing history.
• Your devices, push-notification tokens and encrypted key backups.
• Your membership record with us, including the link between your account and your app-store purchases.
• The email addresses on invites you sent.

Content you shared is also removed from your connections' devices the next time their app syncs.

Timing

• Removal from our live systems: within 24 hours of the request.
• Database backups and our service providers' logs: expire within 30 days.
• Crash and performance diagnostics: expire within 90 days.

What is not deleted

• Records that the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
• Apple's and Google's own records of your purchases, which they keep under their policies.
• Copies of your content that someone captured outside Juno, such as a screenshot.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an app-store subscription. To stop being charged, cancel it in your Apple or Google subscription settings before or after you delete the account.
